Gloria Di Modica

Gloria Di Modica studied art at the Art Institute of Syracuse and at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, completing her studies as a sculptor at the University Complutense of Madrid.
It all began with the research by Gloria di Modica, in painting, sculpture and design. Afterwards, she opened a workshop of her own, "Artefice",  where today a number of master craftsmen produce articles in ceramics, graphics, engraving and sculpture, conceived to decorate the contemporary home with style and refinement: articles for the table and furnishing items, as well as Moorish heads, the real specialty of the workshop. Artefice’s creations are generated by the dialogue between contemporary and tradition, design and innovation, through the use of prime raw materials. All the work is guided by the values of excellent Italian production, the quest for beauty and a unique style.
